Somayina Madden, owner and licensed massage therapist, grew up on Bainbridge Island with a deep appreciation for community and caring for others. Her natural desire to help people live pain-free, balanced, and enjoyable lives led her to pursue her calling in massage therapy. She graduated from the Port Townsend School of Massage in 2019 and has been dedicated to helping clients feel their best ever since.
Somayina is also a dedicated competitive bodybuilder who competed at the World Female Bodybuilding Competition this past year and continues to train for the upcoming season. Her commitment to strength, discipline, and peak performance fuels her extensive knowledge of anatomy, recovery, and the body–mind connection — insight she brings into every massage session.
Appointments are scheduled by time and each session is customized to the individual needs of the client. I offer work ranging from deep relaxation to more clinically focused massage, supporting recovery and helping restore balance, mobility, and stability in the body.
Sessions may incorporate techniques such as essential oils, specialized creams and oils, cupping, hot towels, assisted stretching, and other methods that support relaxation and therapeutic goals.
I also offer in-person movement play, helping clients learn to move in a more relaxed and natural state. This work focuses on reconnecting with the body, allowing muscles to support movement instead of constant bracing, and rediscovering ease and balance in how the body moves.
Therapeutic Massage
Assisted Stretching
Hands-on guided stretching designed to improve flexibility, reduce stiffness, and support better movement and posture.

For lasting results, consistency is key. Scheduling three massage sessions in a week, spaced a day or so apart, helps the body remember and reinforce new patterns in muscles, fascia, and the nervous system. This “reinforcement period” encourages lasting shifts in posture, tension, and relaxation.

Your body needs time to truly relax. If you’re coming in from stress, over-caffeination, or just the busyness of life, your nervous system is likely in a high-alert state. It can take 20–30 minutes just to shift into a restorative, relaxed mode. That’s why longer sessions allow your muscles, fascia, and nervous system to respond fully — so you get deep relaxation, lasting release, and realignment. Every session is guided by careful listening to your body’s patterns, supporting both relaxation and long-term well-being.
We are happy to answer any questions you may have, and look forward to hearing from you!
